The integrated PV storage system combines PV controller and bi-directional converter for "light + energy storage". Its modular design allows flexible PV, battery, and load configuration. This paper focuses on the latest studies and applications of Photovoltaic (PV) systems and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) in buildings from perspectives of system configurations, mathematic models, and optimization of design and operation. Whether it is a single-family home, an isolated villa, or a small business, the ability to produce and manage energy independently is a real and tangible advantage.
